Pioneer Helping Others
Our commitment to the community is integral to our culture. Pioneer generously donates time, money and talents - individually and collectively - to help those in need in the Boston and Omaha areas, as well as around the world.

Associates have the opportunity to contribute monetary donations (which are matched by the company) individually or through company-sponsored Denim Days. Many associates also volunteer their time and energies to Pioneer's Home Team, which supports The Home for Little Wanderers, New England's largest non-profit and family service agency as well as to other local groups such as Rosie's Place, a Boston shelter for homeless women, and Pine Street Inn.

Giving to the Community
We believe we have a greater impact on the non-profit organization we support by targeting our financial resources to a select few groups. Associates have direct input into the types of charities that we assist, with our top priorities being to serve the health, educational, and emotional needs of children. Pioneer also undertakes an annual United Way Campaign, which is committed to healthy child development and youth opportunities.

Matching Gifts
Pioneer's Matching Gifts program offers associates a personal way to have a hand in a charitable or cultural organization's success. Each contribution an associate makes is matched dollar-for-dollar up to $2000 annually.

Denim Days
Throughout the year, Pioneer associates wear denim, raising funds for a variety of worthy causes such as The Jimmy Fund, Horizons for Homeless Children, UNICEF, Alzheimer's Association, Wide Horizons for Children, The Children's Room and many others.

Days or Dollars for Doers Program
As a way of saying "thank you" to both our associates for the many volunteer hours they give and to the non-profits they serve, Pioneer offers associates a choice of either a day of company time to volunteer, or a company-paid donation of $100, for their favorite non-profit.

Pioneer Kids
The Pioneer Kids program encourages Pioneer's investment in and involvement with children. We give gifts and hold events, such as Take Our Kids to Work, for children within our company family and for those in social and charitable programs in the larger community.
