What I do
I joined Pioneer as head of Small Cap European Equity in 2001. In 2007 my responsibilities were extended to Regional Strategies and I created and managed a team of ten people located in different countries. Today I continue to manage Pioneer's European Small Cap Fund.

Professional Growth
Before focusing on the area of small cap markets, I was a member of the European Equity team from 1996-2001 I had concentrated on European Equity markets since the beginning of my career. After almost nine years in Dublin I relocated to our Milan offices in 2007.

A graduate of the Bocconi University in Milan, I joined Credit Rolo Gestioni (now Pioneer Investments) from Fondigest in Milan where I worked as a Portfolio Manager. In my three years there I concentrated on blue chip, small and mid cap companies in the Irish, UK and Scandinavian equity markets. I had my first experience abroad back in 1995 when I spent few months working at Ivory and Sime asset management in Edinburgh

What I like best
As a Fund Manager I like the global challenges and the continuous learning opportunities offered both by my role and by the work environment.

As a person I like the multi cultural environment of the company and the friendly informal atmosphere.
