What I do
As a Fund Manager for institutional fixed income portfolios, I’m responsible for certain funds. This means checking the positioning, the development of individual securities, subscriptions and redemptions etc. This also means examining the micro- and macroeconomic landscapes and their potential impact on capital markets. The strategic and tactical framework for each portfolio is defined in collaboration with the global team using fundamental, quant and technical analysis from Vienna, Dublin, Munich and Milan.

Professional Growth
I have a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Vienna. To this academic grounding, I have drawn further knowledge from the extensive wealth of skills and information available in my working environment. I completed the CFA program in 2004. My next objective is to build a closer relationship with people in the global organisation of Pioneer Investments and learn from their ideas.

What I like best
As a Fund Manager I like the dynamic and the intellectual challenge this job offers. There is no way you can ever stop learning and consider “you know everything”. Every development on the international capital markets has its own pattern; the task of offering our customers the best possible product under ever changing circumstances is a challenge we must meet by constant development and further integration of our available global resources.
